The Sumpatheo Foundation
Sumpatheo: Greek verb – to come alongside with compassion; to suffer with another
Mission/purpose: Come alongside vulnerable children and families in poverty to build better lives for themselves and their community, through relationships, education and hope in their Creator.
Sumpatheo strategically partners directly with a limited number of key organizations whose mission vision and methodology align with our own. We are not able to take grant applications from outside organizations or individuals.
“What you will do among children is as close to the heart of God and central to his kingdom as anything we could mention.”
(Wes Stafford, former president of Compassion International)
From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked (Luke 12:48)
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute (Prov. 31:8)
